Title: Field Report: Inside the Upgraded North Eden State Park (Bear Lake East Side)
If you haven't ventured over to the northeast side of Bear Lake lately, you're missing out on some incredible new infrastructure upgrades.
We just wrapped up a brand-new guided video tour of North Eden State Park to show you exactly how the area looks right now.
North Eden has always been a hidden gem for its clean beaches and incredible sunset views, but recent state park overhauls have made it highly accommodating for campers and day-trippers alike.
What's New at North Eden?
• Brand-new covered picnic tables to beat the summer heat.
• Freshly seeded, grassy campsites perfect for tent setups.
• Upgraded public restrooms and much smoother access roads.
• Dedicated handicap-accessible paths to premium beach spots.
Before you hook up the trailer and head out, there are two critical rules you need to know:
- There is NO boat ramp at North Eden. If you are launching a watercraft, you must use the ramp at Rainbow Cove just south of the park.
- Dogs are fully welcome on the sand, but you must keep them on a leash at all times out of respect for other visitors.
