Bear Lake Traffic Update – Significant Delays on Evanston Route

Heavy Traffic Delays returning from Bear Lake via Evanston, WY

Bear Lake Traffic Delay - Woodruff, Utah

Travelers heading back from Bear Lake toward Evanston / Salt Lake are now seeing much heavier delays.

Current Conditions:

Delays at each of the three construction zones are reaching up to 30 minutes.
Additional highway repairs are scheduled to begin this week, which will likely make things even slower.

Bear River Bridge north of Evanston/Almy

Bear Lake Traffic Delay - Bear River, WY

Bear River crossing south of Woodruff

Bear Lake Traffic Delay - Woodruff. Utah

Woodruff to Randolph (irrigation canal area)

Bear Lake Traffic Delay - 3 miles South Randolph

Alternative Route: If you want to avoid the worst of the backups, consider taking the Monte Cristo route (from Woodruff toward Huntsville).

⚠️ Important: This is open range country. Watch carefully for livestock and wildlife on the roadway, especially at dawn and dusk.
