Bear Lake Conditions Update – July 10, 2026

Bear Lake and Bear Lake State Park remain open for summer recreation. Here is the latest information as of July 6, 2026.

Current Lake ElevationThe lake elevation is currently 5,914.50 feet. Full pool elevation is 5,923.65 feet.

• 2026 High Elevation: 5,916.50 feet
• 2025/2026 Low Elevation: 5,915.05 feet
• 2025 High Elevation: 5,919.35 feet

Park FacilitiesAll facilities are currently open, including the State Marina, Rendezvous Beach, First Point, South Eden, Cisco Beach, Rainbow Cove, and North Eden.

Launch Ramp Status

• State Marina: Open
• Rendezvous Beach: Open
• First Point: Open
• Cisco Beach: Open

Launch AdvisoryDue to current lake levels, launching boats at certain locations is not recommended. Four-wheel drive is advised if launching is attempted. Please use all launch ramps at your own risk.

Campsite AvailabilityReservations are highly recommended for campsites at Rendezvous Beach, South Eden, and North Eden through Labor Day weekend. Campsites at Cisco Beach and Sunset (Rainbow Cove) operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fire RestrictionsStage 2 Fire Restrictions are in effect across the area. No open fires of any kind are allowed, including those in established fire pits, charcoal grills, pellet grills, or any ash-producing fuels.

Properly shielded gas or liquid-fueled portable camp stoves equipped with a shut-off valve are permitted, as long as they are used on a barren area at least three feet in diameter with no flammable vegetation.

Recent Weather SummaryOver the past week, daytime high temperatures have ranged from the mid-80s to the mid-60s. Overnight low temperatures have ranged from the low 60s to the mid-40s.
