# Bear Lake Traffic Update – Significant Delays on Evanston Route

Travelers heading **back** from Bear Lake toward Evanston / Salt Lake are now seeing much heavier delays.

**Current Conditions:**

- Delays at **each of the three construction zones** are reaching up to **30 minutes**.
- Additional highway repairs are scheduled to begin this week, which will likely make things even slower.

- Bear River Bridge north of Evanston/Almy

Bear Lake Traffic Delay - 3 miles South Randolph

**Alternative Route:** If you want to avoid the worst of the backups, consider taking the **Monte Cristo route** (from Woodruff toward Huntsville).

**⚠️ Important:** This is **open range** country. Watch carefully for livestock and wildlife on the roadway, especially at dawn and dusk.

The Evanston route is still open but plan on significantly longer travel times right now. Check WYDOT and UDOT apps before leaving for the latest info.
